All Miles Credit Card by HDFC Bank – Premium Travel Credit Card
HDFC All Miles was a premium travel credit card primarily offered to Preferred and Imperia customers. Positioned in HDFC’s premium travel segment, the All Miles program included a dedicated website where cardholders could book airline tickets, reserve hotels, download music and recharge mobiles or DTH using reward points earned on spending. Purchases made through the All Miles portal earned accelerated rewards—typically double the standard points.
The card was provided as lifetime free for Preferred and Imperia customers. For Classic and other customers, HDFC sometimes offered an instant loan facility (for example, a small personal loan against the card) that effectively converted the card to lifetime free by avoiding the annual fee. That option could make sense for some customers because it avoided the need to meet a spending threshold each year to waive the fee.
During festive periods, the bank introduced short-term offers like a smart pay bonus where cardholders received bonus reward points for each bill added to the card.
Redeeming reward points with HDFC All Miles
Reward points earned on the card had to be converted into All Miles voucher credits to be redeemed on the dedicated All Miles site. Conversion ratios varied, with the historical example being 100 reward points converting to 25 All Miles credits. Points could also be transferred to participating airline loyalty programs where available.
- 1 reward point ≈ Rs. 0.25
- 1000 reward points ≈ Rs. 250
The most valuable redemptions were typically for flight tickets booked through the All Miles portal or for mobile/DTH recharges when needed. Hotel bookings and other travel-related redemptions were also supported via the All Miles platform.
Paying postpaid bills with All Miles reward points
One distinctive feature of the All Miles program was the ability to pay postpaid bills using reward-point vouchers—a capability not widely available across other HDFC cards. While many HDFC cards allowed prepaid recharges with points, All Miles stood out for supporting postpaid bill payments through its rewards platform.
This difference arose because the All Miles site operated on a separate loyalty platform, which enabled additional redemption options compared with the standard rewards platform used by many other HDFC cards.

Pro tip: If lounge access is important, choose the card/network variant that provides the lounge benefits you will actually use, as different variants historically offered different combinations of Priority Pass and card-network lounge access.
As a premium card, All Miles was generally a stronger option compared with basic starter cards, especially for frequent flyers who value converting reward points into airline miles. The card was widely accepted and suitable for travelers who planned to redeem points for flights or related travel bookings.
Credit limits on All Miles tended to be competitive for a premium card, often reflecting a higher starting limit compared with entry-level cards. Existing All Miles cardholders were commonly advised to consider upgrades to HDFC’s higher-tier premium cards if their needs changed.
