Bottomline
I haven’t personally received this specific offer on any of my Amex cards yet. Based on my historical usage, I expect a meaningful targeted promotion similar to the Diwali 2018 Amex offer, though I may be optimistic.
Update: If you haven’t received an email, customer service can now verify your card’s eligibility for these spend-based promotions. In my case I was informed that Offer #2 is enabled on my Gold Charge Card.
When I called Amex Customer Care, I was told that the targeted offers would be pushed out to all eligible cardholders on or before Sunday.
Overall, this is a strong opportunity to save on planned spending. I’m eager to see how American Express continues to reward cardholders through the rest of the year.
