IndusInd Bank has been running a weekend cashback offer since August and it appears to have been extended into September and October. I received the promotional email recently for my IndusInd Iconia American Express Credit Card, which is fairly new. The promotion is in partnership with American Express. Details follow:

Super Sundays: 10% Cashback with IndusInd Bank Credit Cards
Offer: Earn 10% cashback on domestic transactions over Rs.4,000 made on Sundays using your IndusInd Bank American Express Iconia Credit Card. The cashback is calculated on combined Sunday spends within the month.
Offer Details:
- Minimum spend: Rs.4,000 (combined Sunday spends in a month)
- Maximum cashback: Rs.500 per month (achieved at Rs.5,000 of qualifying spends)
- Offer period: 1 August 2017 to 31 October 2017
- The promotion appears to be repeatable month to month if you previously availed it.
- All qualifying spends across Sundays in the same month are aggregated to determine eligibility.
- Cashback fulfillment: Cashback for October 2017 spends will be credited before 15 December 2017.
This promotion is attractive because it offers 10% back on virtually any Sunday spend, whether you shop online (note: some merchants such as Amazon may not accept the card), dine out, or make small purchases like sweets for family gatherings. Even modest Sunday spending can yield notable savings under this scheme.
Compared with certain American Express promotions that offer 5% back, this IndusInd offer provides a higher immediate cashback rate, although those other promos sometimes have higher overall caps or different rewards structures.
