In an effort to obtain the IndusInd Exclusive Signature debit card, I recently opened an Exclusive savings account with IndusInd Bank. That account automatically issued the IndusInd Platinum Exclusive Debit Card, which replaced my previous IndusInd Maximum Platinum debit card.
IndusInd Platinum Exclusive Debit Card
Benefits of IndusInd Platinum Exclusive Debit Card
- 1% foreign currency markup fee
- Earn up to 2,000 reward points per month (equivalent to approximately Rs. 1,000)
- 2% value back when you spend Rs. 50,000 or more in a month
Aside from the lower markup fee on foreign currency transactions, most benefits are similar to the IndusInd Maximum Platinum debit card. The Platinum Exclusive card remains free for life while your account retains “Exclusive” status.
The card also includes additional perks such as BookMyShow offers and certain insurance covers. I tend not to rely on those benefits because I already hold an SBI Signature card, which was recently upgraded to the SBI Elite Card and provides roughly Rs. 500 worth of movie tickets each month.
