Axis Bank is one of India’s older private banks. For a long time its credit card lineup lagged behind competitors such as HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank. Recently Axis Bank has strengthened its card portfolio with co-branded and premium offerings, but one longstanding product is the Axis MyZone Credit Card.

Axis MyZone Credit Card Rewards & Benefits:
The MyZone Card offers a modest set of rewards and benefits. Key features include:
- The card provides a 25% discount on movie tickets booked online or at the box office. Note that purchases of movie tickets do not earn reward points.
- Dining spends earn between 4 and 40 reward points depending on category and timing. On weekends you receive 10X points, which effectively translates to 40 reward points per ₹200 on weekend dining.
- The standard earning rate is 4 reward points per ₹200 on regular spends.
- Approximate reward rate on regular spends is around 0.4%.
- The card includes complimentary Visa airport lounge access (typically 2 visits per quarter), a benefit that aligns with many competing cards in the same segment.
- Fuel surcharge is waived for transactions between ₹400 and ₹4,000 per month. Service tax on the surcharge is generally not refunded and fuel purchases do not earn reward points.
- Cardexpert Rating: 3/5
Overall, the benefits are average. The card becomes more attractive if offered as a lifetime free (LTF) card — Axis Bank often provides lifetime free membership to salary account customers and occasionally to other customers. If not available LTF, the card can be issued for a modest annual fee (typically around ₹500).
Practical note: Axis Bank tends to be generous with credit limits. First-time cardholders can often receive an initial credit limit that is close to twice their monthly salary, making the MyZone Card a reasonable entry-level option for applicants seeking a higher limit.
If you aim for a higher-end card with larger limits, consider upgrading or applying for premium products after meeting eligibility requirements. Some premium approvals require holding an existing card for more than a year and meeting minimum limit criteria.
This is an entry-level card that can serve as a straightforward introduction to credit card benefits. If you are evaluating Axis Bank’s card offerings, consider your spending patterns, the value of lounge access and movie discounts, and whether a lifetime free issuance is available before applying.
