I was heading to Goa for a mix of leisure and work and had extra time at Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport, so I visited the Plaza Premium Lounge in Terminal 1 (Domestic).
How to reach: The lounge is located on the 2nd floor (Mezzanine). After collecting your boarding pass on the ground floor, go to the 1st floor for security screening, typically via the escalator. Once through security, take the lift or stairs up to the 2nd floor where the Plaza Premium Lounge is located. Directional signs are available in the terminal.
My Experience at Plaza Premium Lounge (Domestic) Bangalore:
I visited with three friends and we all accessed the lounge through various complimentary entitlements. I used an HDFC Business Regalia credit card, while my friends had Mastercards issued by Axis and ICICI, which granted complimentary entries.
The lounge also accepts many other credit and debit cards that include complimentary lounge access, so it’s worth checking the benefits on your cards. I plan to use unused visits from my parents’ cards in the future.
On entering, the lounge opens into a spacious area with seating, a mini bar, and a food station. The overall feel is comfortable and well laid out, with several spots offering good views of the apron and terminal activity. Below are a few photos from my visit.
