I started using Amex eZeClick when they launched an offer a few months ago that gave Rs.1000 cashback for using eZeClick, and I’m enjoying it. eZeClick is especially useful when I need to make multiple transactions on several cards without exposing card numbers.
BookmyShow Voucher – Amex eZeClick Offer
Services such as Paytm and MobiKwik feel less essential when banks and card issuers create fast, secure checkout experiences like eZeClick. We’ve seen similar moves with PayZapp (no PIN for HDFC cards), MasterPass, and other tokenized or simplified payment flows.
For me, eZeClick has largely replaced mobile wallets for online payments. Currently there’s a good BookMyShow offer if you transact with American Express eZeClick. Details are below.
American Express eZeClick BookMyShow Offer
- Receive a BookMyShow voucher worth Rs.500 after completing 2 transactions of over Rs.1,000 each using your American Express® eZeClick ID
- Validity: Offer valid until 28 April 2017
- Movie vouchers will be emailed within 90 days from the offer end date
- The Movie Money Voucher eCode can be used to book a single ticket per transaction, where the individual ticket price does not exceed Rs.500
- No convenience fee will be charged when redeeming the voucher
- Supplementary cards are treated as separate cards and must be enrolled individually

This effectively gives a 25% reward rate on the qualifying spend: you receive Rs.500 in value for spending Rs.2,000. The supplementary card terms can be a bit confusing, but it appears supplementary cards may be eligible for separate vouchers if enrolled individually.
Supplementary Card Bonus Points Offer
Amex is also running a limited-time promotion where you can earn 2,000 bonus Membership Rewards points for each approved supplementary cardholder. Those points convert to value differently depending on the card:
- On the American Express Platinum Travel Card, 2,000 points can be redeemed as Indigo vouchers equivalent to roughly Rs.1,000
- On most other Amex cards, 2,000 points are worth about Rs.500 in direct value
Combining the supplementary-card bonus with the eZeClick BookMyShow offer can make the overall value very attractive. If you frequently book movies or travel, enrolling supplementary cardholders and using eZeClick may be worth considering.
