This is a straightforward and useful promotion from Yes Bank, especially notable because such offers have been less common recently. The extended duration of the offer—four months—also makes it easier to plan and meet the minimum spend requirement without rushing.
Before taking part, check whether your specific Yes Bank card is eligible and whether reward rates or point valuations on your card translate to the higher effective return cited. For some card variants, bonus points combined with the base rewards can approximate the 7.5% value mentioned; for others the effective return may be lower.
I’m personally considering this offer because alternative payment options such as Amazon Pay have experienced problems processing LIC premium payments recently. At the moment, I don’t see better insurance-related credit card promotions for December 2021, which makes this Yes Bank offer more attractive.
