Frequent travelers will know that Mumbai airport management shifted from GVK to Adani, and the lounges have been rebranded accordingly.
The former GVK Lounges now operate under the Adani name for both domestic and international terminals. Since the ownership change around 2021, eligibility for access — at least in the domestic lounge — has been updated.
Previously, the GVK lounge was primarily used by business class passengers, with occasional access for certain cardholders. Today, many more travelers with eligible credit cards can enter the Adani lounges.
I recently visited the Adani lounge in Terminal 2 domestic departures before flying Vistara business class from Mumbai to Hyderabad, and the lounge remains excellent.
Business class passengers benefit from a dedicated seating area and a separate express check-in counter, which helps avoid long queues and saves time at busy periods.
The food selection is generous and varied. Below are some photos that show the variety and presentation.
On my way out I also noticed a spa area inside the business class section. I didn’t have time to try it during this visit. If you’ve used the spa or spent more time in the lounge, please share your experience in the comments below.
