Bottomline

About Smartbuy: It appears this may be the final month for the full 10X Smartbuy benefit before HDFC moves to a reduced structure such as 5X points or 5% cashback. The bank briefly displayed 5X messaging before reverting, so further changes are possible.

About Diners 10X partners: The Diners 10X program has been extended through June, and it looks likely to continue in some form. Expect occasional partner changes and adjustments to maximum caps; the removal of Redbus may disappoint some cardholders.

The promotion remains active for now, so if you have eligible spending, you can still benefit. Share your experience or thoughts on HDFC’s 10X changes in the comments section.
