This article is contributed by Mouli, a long time reader & contributor at Cardexpert. Here’s his review of the newest airport lounge in Goa: Good Times Bar.

I had low expectations given past reports about the Goa Port Lounge, which many considered one of the weaker airport lounges in India. While walking toward the boarding gate I noticed a staff member wearing TFS-branded clothing and asked about lounge access. He gave me the location of the new lounge and a few details, so I decided to check it out.

Location
The Good Times Bar lounge sits opposite Gates D and E in the domestic departures area. It appeared to have opened in late 2019 and was just a few months old when I visited. Below is a concise review with a few photos taken during my visit.
Check-in
At reception I was told that a complimentary buffet and soft drinks are available only for select cardholders. The staff read out a list of accepted cards but did not allow photographs or give a copy, though I managed to note several that were accepted. During my visit I observed several passengers who could not use their cards here, so it seems access is selective and enforced.

- SBI Prime and Elite

Interiors
The lounge has pleasant, contemporary interiors but is modest in size. Seating capacity is roughly 70–80 people and not every table has a charging point, so if you need power it’s worth arriving early to secure a spot with access.

Food
The dinner buffet offered a decent variety and the food was enjoyable. The spread featured dishes from multiple cuisines including pasta, noodles, sandwiches, rice, biryani and a chicken gravy. Desserts stood out — I particularly liked the strawberry chenna and a chocolate-based sweet.

Bottomline
- CardExpert Rating: 4/5
The opening of a new lounge in Goa is welcome news for travelers — the airport serves a major tourist destination and additional lounge capacity was overdue. The current access policy prioritizes premium cardholders, which helps keep crowds down but limits availability for many passengers. That may change over time as the lounge adjusts operations.
Ideally, Goa Airport would offer multiple lounges to accommodate demand during peak travel periods. For now, Good Times Bar is a solid option for eligible cardholders seeking a comfortable place to relax and grab a meal before departure.
