HDFC Bank 10X Rewards Extended — Save 20% on Select Spends (Dec 2019)

Diners 10X Rewards

• Offer valid until 31st Dec 2019.
• New participating merchants include Ola and FirstCry.
• Transactions at both offline stores and the online websites of FirstCry and Godrej Nature’s Basket qualify for 10X points.
• Ola post-paid payments cannot currently be made with Diners cards and are therefore not eligible.
• EMI transactions are excluded from this offer.
• The additional 9X reward points will be posted within 30 days from the end of the calendar month in which the transaction was made.

Smartbuy 10X

• Validity: Till 31st Dec 2019.
• Upper cap: Infinia – 25,000 points; Diners Black – 15,000 points; Other Diners cards & Regalia – 5,000 points. All other HDFC cards: 5% cashback up to Rs. 1,000.
• Cap reset: Calendar month.
• Eligible spends include Flipkart and Amazon via SmartBuy, flights and hotels booked via SmartBuy, and instant gift vouchers purchased through SmartBuy.
• Reward points or cashback are credited within 90 working days from the last date of the transaction month.

Double/Triple Dip Offers

• Flipkart: 10% instant discount on HDFC credit cards (maximum discount Rs. 1,250).
• SmartBuy eVoucher: Get 10% of the spend back as a SmartBuy eVoucher (maximum Rs. 1,500).

If you hold Diners Black or Infinia, combining these offers can yield significant savings: 10X rewards plus the Flipkart discount and SmartBuy voucher can translate to substantial effective savings on qualifying purchases. The bank’s examples show how these stack; however, the savings are subject to the upper caps noted above.

Even with the caps, these offers are valuable if your spending falls within the eligible ranges. Review exclusions carefully—several items, including certain high-end smartphones, may be excluded.
