My Experience
I redeemed The Festive Reserve, priced at ₹3,299 plus GST, from ITC Grand Chola via the ITC Hotels app using my Green Points. The redemption on the app was quick and user-friendly.
Although the app listed the item as “takeaway” only, the hotel arranged next-day delivery because I lived nearby. The staff were accommodating and kept the process smooth.
Final Thoughts
Using points for flights or hotel stays is gratifying, but redeeming them for festive treats brings a different kind of joy. ITC Hotels has made the redemption process simple and festive this Diwali, with nicely packaged hampers and convenient delivery options where available.
In past years other hotel groups offered similar options—Marriott had hampers in earlier seasons, and Accor properties such as Sofitel Mumbai have had attractive festive bundles. However, point redemption experiences can vary by brand and property; for example, some Accor hotels had limitations this season.
