Vistara Lounge at Delhi International Airport functions like a business-class lounge, with access restricted to Vistara Business Class passengers and Club Vistara Gold & Platinum members. This limited access keeps the crowd much smaller than at the often-packed Plaza Premium Lounge in Terminal 3.

My Experience at Delhi Vistara Lounge

I visited the Vistara Lounge at Delhi Airport (Terminal 3, domestic departures) before a DEL–BLR flight in Vistara Business Class. Below is a concise account of the lounge facilities, service and overall ambience from that visit.

Check in

Entry was quick and straightforward: I showed my Vistara Business Class boarding pass and was admitted immediately. On this visit there was no barcode scan at the door, only a visual check of the pass, which made for a very fast entry.

Seating & Interiors

The lounge layout is well planned with a variety of seating options to suit different needs. Key areas include:

• Main lounging area with comfortable chairs
• Dedicated dining zone
• Recliner seats facing the tarmac for plane views
• Small meeting room for private discussions
• A reserved room that appears intended for VIPs

Because access is limited, occupancy typically remains low—often below 50%—which creates a calm and pleasant environment. The recliners are a welcome feature, although there are only two, so they are frequently in use.

Note: The lounge does not have its own washroom facilities. A common airport restroom is located just a short walk—around 20 steps—from the lounge entrance and is easily accessible.

Food & mocktail

The food selection is solid for a domestic lounge, with a range of starters, main courses, fruits and desserts. While the spread is good, there is room for improvement to match the variety offered by some other top airport lounges.

Mocktails: One standout feature is the mocktail selection. Beyond the usual soft drinks, the lounge offers crafted mocktails that add a refreshing touch. I sampled two:

• Lychee mocktail — very enjoyable
• Strawberry Crusher — pleasant and refreshing

During my stay I didn’t notice many other guests ordering mocktails, which suggests some passengers may be unaware of the offering. Photos of the mocktail bar and drinks are shown below.

Service

Staff were attentive and ready to assist, whether serving mocktails or handling small requests. When the lounge experienced intermittent power outages and the flight display screens were unavailable, the lounge supervisor proactively alerted me when boarding began. That level of personal attention improved the experience and felt thoughtful.
