JW Marriott Bengaluru Prestige Golfshire Resort & Spa is among India’s premier golf resorts, conveniently located near Kempegowda International Airport (KIAL) with views toward Nandi Hills.
I had wanted to visit since the property opened, and an opportunity presented itself when Vistara briefly launched a direct CJB–BLR route. Below is a summary of my stay in early 2022.

Booking
Rack rates at this hotel often hover around INR 30,000 per night. I booked using Marriott Bonvoy points, which cost roughly 30,000 points per night at the time of my stay; the property is sometimes available for as low as 23,000 points if your dates are flexible.
Location
The resort sits about 20 kilometres from Kempegowda International Airport—roughly a 20-minute drive en route to Nandi Hills.
For residents of central Bangalore, the main downside is the distance from the city. Since I was arriving by air, I booked a luxury airport transfer through a card benefit and received an upgrade to a near-new Mercedes-Benz S-Class for the trip.
The short drive felt effortless—comfortable, quick and a pleasant start to the stay.
Check-in
The property makes an immediate impression with its scale and landscaped grounds. Check-in was efficient and I was welcomed with sparkling water.
My room had been upgraded to a Club room with executive lounge access and excellent views. The welcome amenity was generous, including fresh fruit, sweets, snacks and a cake.
The Room
The room included a balcony overlooking the immaculately maintained golf course and a small ornamental lake between the resort and the course. Sunrises and sunsets from the balcony are especially memorable.
Interiors are modern and consistent with JW Marriott standards; the bathroom and wash area were well designed and comfortable.
The Resort
The resort complex is expansive, centered around one of India’s top golf courses. This scale is a strength but also means you may need to walk or take lifts to reach restaurants or the club lounge if your room is away from the central area.
Facilities include a large outdoor pool, a dedicated spa building, a children’s play area, a well-equipped gym and a small putting green for guests who want a quick game without visiting the full course.
Evenings often feature live music in the lobby and the atmosphere is relaxed and upscale. If you plan to visit, consider checking the resort calendar for events—large functions or golf tournaments can increase occupancy and activity levels.
The Golf Club
Prestige Golfshire Club is a short drive from the hotel. The resort typically arranges complimentary buggy transfers between the hotel and the clubhouse entrance.
I visited the golf club several times for lessons, using complimentary access provided through certain credit card partnerships. The clubhouse includes an in-house restaurant and the course offers calm, picturesque views that are pleasant year-round.
Dining
Breakfast at the resort offers an extensive buffet with live cooking counters. Compared with other JW properties I’ve visited, the spread here felt noticeably larger and more varied.
The buffet included unusual and fresh choices like dragon fruit and freshly served tender coconut water, underscoring the resort’s focus on quality produce.
I was so engaged with the breakfast spread that I missed taking many photos of the food.
Executive Lounge
The executive lounge is spacious and well appointed. During happy hours the lounge offers made-to-order starters along with a selection of juices, nuts and light snacks available throughout the day.
During my stay occupancy was low, so food items were prepared on demand rather than presented as a large buffet.

JW Marriott Bengaluru Prestige Golfshire stands out as one of the finest golf resorts in Asia and one of India’s most modern, upscale properties of its kind. The landscaped grounds, high-quality facilities and thoughtful service make it a memorable destination for nature lovers and golf enthusiasts alike.
Marriott Bonvoy elites receive particularly strong value here through upgrades and lounge access. If you can visit at least once, the views and atmosphere make it highly worthwhile.
