Marriott Bonvoy is once again offering a curated collection of Diwali sweets in collaboration with renowned fashion designers. Last year Marriott partnered with designer Manish Malhotra to present exclusive festive treats, and this year continues the association under the banner “Manish Malhotra Diwali with Marriott Bonvoy.” Participating Marriott hotels across India repeat this seasonal offering annually as part of their festive promotions.
All ingredients in these handcrafted boxes are sourced locally and prepared without artificial sweeteners. Each box contains six varieties of artisanal sweets: Gulab Peda, Chokhoya, Dodha-style sweet, Gurmewa, Pista Mista and a Millet Mithai, all made with an emphasis on quality and traditional flavors.

Festive Sweet Box
The festive sweet collection is offered in three configurations to suit different needs:
- Box of 36 artisanal sweets: six flavors, six pieces each. Priced at ₹2,600 + GST or redeemable for 6,300 Marriott Bonvoy Points. Card payments earn around 320 Bonvoy points.
- Box of 18 artisanal sweets: six flavors, three pieces each. Priced at ₹1,500 + GST or 3,600 Bonvoy Points. Card payments earn around 180 Bonvoy points.
- Box of 12 artisanal sweets plus four spiced nuts: six flavors, two pieces each plus a portion of spiced nuts. Priced at ₹1,800 + GST or 4,300 Bonvoy Points. Card payments earn around 220 Bonvoy points.
When using points, the effective value works out to roughly 0.40 INR per point in these options. Note that many Marriott properties in South India do not support points redemption for this offering, and delivery is typically limited to the city where the hotel is located.
How to Order?
- WhatsApp: +91-9710082100
- Phone: 011-43169690
After contacting them you should receive a callback from a local team member within 24 hours. They will request details such as your Marriott Bonvoy membership number (if any), delivery address, billing preference, quantity and preferred delivery date via email or WhatsApp to process the order.
Payment options
- Payments can be made by redeeming Marriott Bonvoy Points or by card (any major card, not limited to AMEX).
- If you plan to pay by card but do not yet have a Bonvoy account, it is advisable to create one before ordering so the stay or purchase can be credited with points where applicable.
My Experience
I redeemed 6,300 Marriott Bonvoy Points for the 36-piece box. Delivery was completed the next day—timed just before Dussehra—by staff from Fairfield by Marriott, who called ahead to confirm. The entire process was smooth and well coordinated.
The local Marriott executive, Jitendra Singh, stayed in regular contact to ensure a hassle-free delivery and patiently answered my questions while I gathered information for this review. The packaging, presentation and overall coordination reflected Marriott’s service standards.
Important Points
- The campaign typically begins about two months before Diwali and runs until Diwali day.
- Delivery is generally available in cities that host a Marriott property. For gifting to locations without a Marriott hotel, the local property may choose to courier the box at its discretion; additional delivery charges may apply.
- Delivery options include hand delivery by Marriott staff, courier service, or self-pickup from the nearest Marriott property.
- Delivery usually takes one to two days after placing the order, depending on logistics and location.
- The sweets have a shelf life of around one week or more when stored appropriately.
- In my experience, four out of the six varieties had a slightly lower sugar level, which some may appreciate for a less sweet profile.
Bottomline
The sweets score well for taste, presentation and quality. Pricing is on the higher side, which can be attributed to the association with Manish Malhotra and the Marriott brand. If you have ample Marriott Bonvoy Points and want an upscale gifting option, this is a reliable choice.
However, I would not recommend spending cash or burning card balances solely for this product when comparable festive hampers are available from other hotel groups like Taj and ITC. Those options may offer similar quality at different price points, so they are worth considering in future seasons.
