| Transfer Points | Bonus % | Max. Cap |

| 25,000 to 50,000 | 15% | 7,500 |
| 50,000 to 1 Lakh | 25% | 25,000 |
| 1 Lakh + | 50% | 50,000 |
Additional incentives: the top 10 members who transfer points during the promotion will each receive 10,000 CV points. There is also a 5,000-point bonus for members who transfer 100,000+ points and complete a booking during the offer period. To participate you must register for the promotion with Club Vistara.
Should you transfer?
Whether to transfer depends on your travel plans, alternative offers, and the source of your points. Consider the following:
- If you plan to fly Vistara within the next six months, transferring to collect CV points now can make sense.
- If you are considering transferring American Express Membership Rewards points, weigh this offer against potential Amex-to-Marriott promotions that may appear; timing and relative value matter.
- If you hold HDFC Diners Clubmiles, this promotion is attractive because Diners Club often offers 1:1 transfers, even from non-premium cards, increasing value on transfer.
- If your credit card points are nearing expiration, transferring to Club Vistara preserves their usefulness for future redemptions.
For valuation context, a conservative estimate places a single CV point at about Rs.0.75. Under that estimate, transferring 100,000 points and receiving the 50% bonus (50,000 bonus points) effectively yields a value around Rs.1 per point when you consider the extra bonus. In practice, the real-world value can be higher during periods of elevated airfares, although fare levels may normalize over the next few months as travel demand stabilizes.
Bottomline
This promotion is particularly beneficial for members who can transfer more than 50,000 points and plan to redeem within early 2021. If you do not expect to fly Vistara or redeem soon, it may be better to hold off and wait for a different or better transfer opportunity.
One notable omission in the partner list is regular HDFC credit cards such as Infinia or Regalia; the offer includes HDFC Diners cards but excludes other HDFC products, which raises questions about partner selection.
