I visited the Earth Lounge in the domestic departures area of Cochin Airport while traveling to Mumbai. The terminal still has an older appearance and facilities, though renovation and new buildings are underway and should open soon. Despite the dated look of the airport, the lounge itself felt comfortable and well maintained.
Interestingly, this lounge is located before the security checkpoint, which is unusual. If you arrive with a confirmed flight ticket you can access the lounge quickly. The decor is traditional rather than ultra-modern, and the seating is comfortable—more so than many contemporary lounges that use minimalist sofas.
My experience at Earth Lounge, Cochin
We were greeted by a friendly receptionist who quickly processed our access. There were several card swipe machines at the counter and they accepted a wide range of cards. Since we were a party of three, she swiped our Diners/Priority Pass cards and granted entry without delay.
I began with fresh fruit and then tried the main course. The chicken and fish curries served with rice were excellent—the fish curry in particular stood out as an authentic Kerala preparation. I also had some soft drinks and found the portions satisfying.

Overall, Earth Lounge at Cochin offers a pleasant, traditional lounge experience with a buffet comparable to what you might expect at a four-star hotel. The food, especially the Kerala-style fish curry with rice, was a highlight and worth trying if you visit.
